6.) Nanobots

Microscopic robots called nanobots have a lot to offer. A lot of people have gotten very excited over the applications of nanobots injected directly into your body. (Seriously did they never see that Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Wesley infects the ship so he can then save it? Talk about the ultimate munchausen by proxy. Put me off nanobots for life.) If you can get over the not-so-subtle creepiness of robots hanging out inside of you, they can heal bone, deliver medicine, and detect diseases long before they get serious. Nanobots could even help us develop new senses or improve our existing ones. That alone should qualify nanobots as incredible accessories. 

More adventurous futurists like Ray Kurzweil even say these tiny machines could make us effectively immortal, though that’s going to take a little more than ten years to develop. Until then,
