20 Best Summer Songs of 2016, Ranked
8 – Me Too – Meghan Trainor
I have a problem, and that problem is Help I don’t know how to feel about this song! I rank this so high just because Meghan Trainor is so sassy in those adorable giraffe pajamas complete with adorable hood. The chorus of “Me Too” is so strong and sexy and good. But then you listen to the chorus and realize she’s not bragging about being an awesome chick wearing giraffe pajamas. No, she’s all about (that bass) being famous and rich and in music videos with expensive lattes and gold necklaces and all sorts of things we, on the other end of the radio, cannot relate to. Darn. I shall never be as beautiful or confident as Meghan Trainor and now I have been reminded of this fact and am feeling sad.
Sing along with the chorus and try to ignore your crippling mediocrity in the face of that fearless dancing. That’s what I do, and I love this song more for it.
