Nadiya’s trajectory on Baking Show this season is the stuff reality show producer’s wet dreams are made of. Her early weeks were full of promising ideas that didn’t come out and complete disasters in the Technical Challenges. But as each week went on, she improved, until, by the last four weeks, she was regularly acing the technical challenges and producing Showstoppers that floored the judges with their creativity and style.

Case in point for the latter: this chocolate peacock from the Chocolate Semi final round. Paul calls it a great piece of art. It only gets better when Mary and Paul discover it tastes as good as it looks. Those tail feathers made from layer upon painted layer of modeling chocolate was not only an insane amount of detail work, but of the fianl four, hers was the only Chocolate Showstopper to feature color.
