Avengers: Infinity War is Basically a Logistics Nightmare

Avengers: Infinity War might be one of the most anticipated films of the next several years and we can’t wait to see how many people are in it.

Avengers: Infinity War is shaping up to be one of Marvel’s most ambitious projects yet. And that’s before they even start shooting. Dave Bautista plays Dax the Destroyer in both 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and the forthcoming sequel. When asked, he told Collider that he “[hadn’t] gotten confirmation on who all is going to be in the film, but [thinks] that they’re really going to go all-out on this”.

And yes, fans are already making requests:

Avengers: Infinity War began filming in Atlanta on Jan. 23. Unsurprisingly, fans became excited.

The film currently has May 2018 release date. It should feature characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Doctor Strange. So yeah, that has to be a pain to schedule, right? Especially since many of the Marvel Cinematic Universe actors have plenty of other work to keep them busy.

Bautista also admitted that some CGI might be needed to get scenes between actors whose schedules might not work out, saying:

"I think they’re going to have to [do some CGI scenes between characters] because to bring in that many people who are just so busy, it’s got to be a logistics nightmare."

Finally, who is Bautista hoping he’ll get a scene with?

"I want to work with Robert Downey Jr. He’s Iron Man. He’s Tony Stark, man. He’s the guy! If I had to narrow down my favorite Marvel film: Iron Man. My favorite, I love it."

Don’t we all Drax, don’t we all.
