It was the gasp heard around the fandom! When Shiri Appleby made a cameo in the Roswell, New Mexico Season 3 finale we were not only surprised, we were excited. Finally, the original Liz was making her return to the franchise (on-screen at least).

After Jason Behr appeared in multiple episodes of the Roswell reboot, we may have gotten a little greedy. While Appleby has already worked her magic behind the scenes of the series, she had yet to make an on-screen appearance. And then she showed up as a character named Allie in the final moments of the Season 3 finale, claiming to have been a teacher of Liz Ortecho’s.

We don’t know much more than that at this point, but it was enough to get us excited for what is to come. Now, thanks to executive producers for the series, we know a lot more about Shiri Appleby’s return to Roswell.

According to Deadline, after executive producer Chris Hollier confirmed that Appleby would return in Season 4, we finally have more details about when she will arrive and how long she will stick around. And while it doesn’t seem like a long time, it makes us happy to have her.

New details from Roswell Season 4 confirm that “Appleby’s return has now been set. She is currently set to appear in two episodes of Season 4, starting with #409.”

It may only be two episodes right now, but who knows if she will pop up a few more times, similar to Jason Behr’s character who ended up with an entire story arc set in the past when the aliens first crashed on the planet. Anything could happen. Plus, the fact that Shiri Appleby has already added to the series by directing two episodes of the show means that there is always hope for more when it comes to her on-screen time.

Now if only we could get Brendan Fehr or even Nick Wechsler to make a cameo appearance, we would be beyond excited. (We love a good nostalgia tour in our reboots.)

We may have to wait to learn more about Allie and her role on Roswell, but at least we know that she will be around for at least two episodes moving forward into season four.
