Disney showed off an unreleased clip of Avengers: Endgame at CinemaCon on Wednesday. It features Captain Marvel, who is a bit too eager to get Thanos.

Marvel’s been careful not to give away all of its secrets when it comes to Avengers: Endgame, but it has been quite generous to the people attending CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Disney showcased its upcoming movies like Aladdin, Toy Story 4,and The Lion King at the convention and Marvel, of course, took the spotlight as well. According to Deadline, Disney showed off footage from Endgame featuring its new billion-dollar superhero, Captain Marvel.

To help set up this scene, remember the very last clip from the second Endgame trailer — the one where Carol Danvers is face-to-face with Thor before his axe goes flying past her. Yep, that’s the one. The latest clip from CinemaCon happens a few moments before this scene, so we know that it’s at the Avengers compound, and the other remaining Avengers are already there.

Now that your mind is prepped, here’s a breakdown of what happened in the clip, including an ending that was also showed at Disney’s shareholders meeting a few weeks ago:

  • Carol Danvers, Steve Rogers, James Rhodey, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Rocket, Nebula, and Thor are all there. No mention of Tony Stark.
  • The Avengers are discussing Thanos; Carol “storms out,” ready to kill Thanos herself.
  • Rhodey stops Carol before she can leave, saying “We usually work as a team.”
  • Steve Rogers also chimes in, telling Carol, “Up there is more your territory. But this is our fight, too.”
  • Someone tells her that “everyone in this room is about the superhero life.”
  • They agree they have to find Thanos, with Natasha adding, “We owe it to everyone not in this room to try.”
  • Thor has his axe whiz by Carol and he declares he “likes this one.”
  • Steve Rogers abandons his “language” rule and says,  “Let’s go get this son of a b*tch.”
  • The team flies off on Rocket’s spaceship in search of Thanos.

While it may seem like the gang’s all there ready to battle Thanos, both Tony Stark and Scott Lang are missing from this scene. In the Special Look trailer, there’s a shot that shows the crew (sans Nebula) in the spaceship, which is likely the same scene showed at CinemaCon. But without Tony and Scott in the mix, it feels like this will be an early attempt at finding that Mad Titan that won’t end the way they’d hope.

With Nebula in the scene, that means that Tony Stark had to arrive with her on Earth. But because he was pushed to the brink of death in space, he might be on bed rest for an indeterminate amount of time. It may not be until Scott Lang shows up that the team can actually have a proper final showdown with Thanos and win. Scott knows about the Quantum Realm, after all, which is rumored to be very important in this movie.

As for when we casual fans will get to see this clip, I don’t think Marvel will be holding out much longer. About a week out from the premiere date, the clip may air on Jimmy Kimmel Live or Good Morning America. We got at least three clips from Infinity War that debuted before the premiere, and it was about the same with Captain Marvel. So hang in there, and we’ll likely see some new clips in two weeks or so.

Avengers: Endgame is in theaters April 26, but we’re hoping Marvel will be generous and release some of the clips before then.
