Zendaya hits Prague: Confirmed location for Spider-Man: Far From Home?

An Instagram post shows that Zendaya’s in the Prague, a location where Spider-Man star Tom Holland is also at. Does this mean we’ll see more MJ in Far From Home?

Thank goodness, it looks like Spidey really won’t be alone when it comes to his travels in Spider-Man: Far From Home. In the movie that brings Peter Parker on a tour of Europe, it looks like the no-longer-snapped-away Peter will be hitting up London, Venice, and Prague with his Midtown High friends.

That might also include Zendaya, who recently shared that she was in Prague via Instagram. The actress, who we first saw as the MJ in Spider-Man: Homecoming, showed off a picture of her in the Czech Republic capital on Saturday.

She slyly captioned the picture “Sightseeing,” but we have a hunch that this isn’t a late-summer vacation she’s off having.

Based on the last evidence we gathered, all signs seem to point to Prague being the next stop for the high schoolers in Far From Home. Filming should be starting this week, with scenes supposedly being shot in the capital and a neighboring town, Liberec.

With Zendaya in the picture, this now seems to hint at the movie being about a study abroad trip for Midtown High students (versus it just being about Peter taking a family vacation with Aunt May). We’re hoping that this also means Zendaya will have a bigger role in this movie than she did in the last.

Of course, she was a scene-stealer in Homecoming — but Zendaya is much more talented than the clever one-liners she was given. We don’t necessarily have to see a hackneyed romance between Peter and this MJ, but we would love to see her in as big of a supporting role as Jacob Batalon’s Ned.

As of now, Zendaya joins both Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders (Nick Fury and Maria Hill respectively) as returning MCU stars in this movie. Rumors have swirled around Jon Favreau returning in this film as Happy, as well as Gwenyth Paltrow returning as Pepper Potts. And for Tony Stark? That will have to remain one anxiety-inducing mystery for now.
