Samantha Logan confirms season 7 guest appearance on All American

Olivia Baker will not be away from Beverly Hills for long. Even though she was set to move to New York with Spencer at the conclusion of season six, Samantha Logan's return to All American's seventh season as a guest star has been confirmed.

While it is too early to know exactly what brings Olivia back to her hometown, it may have something to do with Olivia and Jordan's mystery uncle, who Jordan had only discovered existed in the season six finale. Otherwise, Olivia's return to California could have to do with anything from growing success around her book potentially gaining a new adaptation to any other reason for a family reunion.

Samantha Logan's official exit as a series regular came months after Daniel Ezra's announcement, and given the on-screen marriage between their characters, it made sense that Samantha Logan would be stepping away as well.

Olivia Baker's time as a series regular did not just conclude with her marriage to Spencer but also showcased her success as a children's book author, and she got to participate in helping give her brother and best friend their dream wedding.

Given All American's plan to introduce the next generation as being a larger part of the show, there is always a chance that Olivia, even just for a brief time, could also act as a mentor to one of the new teenagers, or Olivia be of help to Jordan, Layla, or Coop in helping them determine how best to handle one of the incoming new characters.

As a fan-favorite character, Olivia's return would be one of great excitement for longtime fans, and given that it is happening as early as season seven's second episode, Olivia may be helping set the pieces in place for whatever comes next.

Olivia's return could feature updates on what is going on in her and Spencer's life in New York, and maybe even let the audience know more about what is going on with Patience, who had also moved across the country.
