It was almost one month after her engagement announcement at the Olympics in Paris that Lady Gaga decided to finally share with the world a glimpse of why she was starry-eyed, presenting the extravagant engagement ring – an egregious oval cut diamond. This pop diva and her techie business tycoon Michael Polansky were seen yesterday in Venice, Italy, and were in time for the Joker: Folie à Deux Italy released at the Venice Film Festival on September 04, 2024.

Gaga and Polansky, dressed in matching black outfits, strolled past paparazzi, with Gaga proudly showing off the dazzling diamond on her finger. Their relationship, which has been mostly kept under wraps, has been in the public eye since February 2020. But it wasn’t until April 2024 that rumors of their engagement began circulating. The couple had stayed mum on the subject until July 28, when a viral TikTok by French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal captured Gaga introducing Polansky as her “fiancé” at the Paris Olympics.

The couple, it was claimed, were secretly psyching themselves up for a ring swap – of which they declined to elaborate as it has taken place on a need-to-know basis.
