In The Black Network, a streaming service known for its library of content that emphasizes and celebrates Black voices, is expanding to feature a new Latino Division. Liana Mendoza will be in charge of the new section. Kicking off the latest initiative will feature the release of the new film, The Low End Theory. The movie received high praise when it was released at film festivals.

Directed by Francisco Ordonez, The Low End Theory is a story that blends underground hip-hop with the danger of a powerful crime lord. Already home to scripted television shows, talk shows, and movies, In The Black Network's strive to expand continues to offer a strong sense of inclusivity and diversity in the streaming service's content options. Adding another layer of content will only allow the streaming service to embrace new stories. In the Black Network already hosts shows and movies such as Crowned, Swipers, Old School Rollers, and 3 Keys.

In The Black Network's commitment to expanding its brand offers the opportunity to continue bringing in a larger audience as the content continues to grow to reach out to more audiences. Making this shift not only works as a business decision but may also have the added benefit of sharing more stories on a free service where anyone can see the potential for representation to be shared on a media platform. Being willing and interested in exploring more cultures and identities shows an interest in growth and inviting audiences to continue to be attracted to the streaming service. According to the official press release, the CEO and Founder of In The Black Network stated,

""The Low End Theory represents the ideal project to launch ITBN's Latino Division, which will serve Latinx audiences worldwide by showcasing authentic, original, and inclusive storytelling. This is a pivotal step in our platform's extended mission to provide content that entertains, educates, and highlights diverse cultural narratives.""
