Barbie tributes Rita Moreno's 93rd Birthday with a new doll

Barbie is doing more than bringing out the cake and balloons for Rita Moreno's 93rd birthday, they are also creating a tribute doll in her likeness.

As Rita Moreno turns 93 on December 11th, Barbie wants to celebrate Rita Moreno's achievements and mark she has left on the world by encouraging fans everywhere to honor her.

Rita Moreno is one of the only 21 people to ever achieve an EGOT. In 1977, Rita Moreno won an Emmy for her performance in The Muppet Show, and then won another Emmy in 1978 for her role in The Rockford Files. In1972, Rita Moreno won a Grammy for her album, "The Electric Company." Rita Moreno won a Tony in 1975 for her performance in The Ritz. In 1961, Rita Moreno won an Oscar for her role in West Side Story.

Having participated in films and Broadway, Rita Moreno made impressive rounds in the entertainment industry, making herself known as an actress, dancer, and singer.
