If there's one publisher I can always count on, it's Sourcebooks. The publishing house has so many different imprints and caters to all different types of readers.

For those who don't know, some of the imprints included in Sourcebooks are Sourcebooks Casablanca, Bloom Books, Poisoned Pen Press and Sourcebooks Fire. As you can see, each imprint focuses on different genres such as romance, horror, thrillers and all different types of fiction.

As someone who is a seasoned romance reader, I'm usually one to pick up something from Sourcebooks Casablanca or Bloom Books. Even so, there is going to be a book from an imprint you likely won't expect.

For those who haven't read one of these posts before, I always like to give the disclaimer that this is my opinion since being a reader is so subjective. Due to that, you can share your favorites from Sourcebooks via our X/Twitter or Facebook.

These 6 titles from Sourcebooks were certified winners.

1. What She's Having by Laura Moher

Starting off the list is a certified underrated gem from Sourcebooks Casablanca and that's What She's Having by Laura Moher. You might recognize the author from her debut novel: Curves for Days which released in 2023. This story does feature the characters from CTD so if you've read that book, you're likely to enjoy What She's Having.

What She's Having is a true second-chance romance as we're following July and Joe who fell in love as kids but things fall apart as Joe essentially ghosts July. We come to find out the reason why but seeing Joe and July reconnect is so swoony. If you love second-chance romances, you're going to want some of What She's Having.

2. Dark Restraint by Katee Robert

Would a list of mine be complete without a Katee Robert book every year? It's unlikely but this year, Katee Robert absolutely wrote their butt off and one of their best projects of the year was Dark Restraint. This is book 7 in the Dark Olympus series and we're following a romance between Ariadne and the Minotaur who might be one of my favorite couples of the entire series. Honestly, I feel like Katee Robert wove some magic into these pages because I cannot put this book down.

If you've been loving the entire Dark Olympus series, then Dark Restraint kicks it up a notch and you'll want to be seated for what's next. As someone who is a huge Katee Robert fan, this book made me fall back in love with the Dark Olympus series. This series is only getting better as it goes on so I truly cannot wait for more from Katee Robert.

The Inmate

3. The Inmate by Freida McFadden

Switching gears to a different imprint, Poisoned Pen Press has been publishing some of Freida McFadden's works this year and I am here for it. While I read a few of her books this year, the one I truly couldn't put down was The Inmate. Frankly, I don't want to get into too much detail but it basically follows a woman who gets a job at a prison and we're finding out about her past and how she's connected to an inmate. With twists, turns, and plenty of drama, The Inmate will have you entertained from start to finish.

Beautiful Villain

4. Beautiful Villain by Rebecca Kenney

In putting together these lists, I'm realizing that I read a lot more fantasy romances than I thought as Beautiful Villain by Rebecca Kenney had to make my list. A fantasy retelling of The Great Gatsby with a twist, this book is dazzling. Whether it's the rich characters, the twist on the classic Gatsby tale, or the delightful steamy scenes, this is another one where I don't want to give too much away. I just remember giggling and kicking my feet while I was reading which is a testament to a solid romance.

Hexed
Hexed by Emily McIntire.

5. Hexed by Emily McIntire

Hexed was a book I already felt like I was going to love before I picked it up yet Emily McIntire absolutely blew me out of the water. This is a romance between Venesa and Enzo who first meet in an unexpected way and things snowball from there. With so much forbidden deliciousness baked into this book, you truly won't want to put it down.

Aside from the great romance, Emily McIntire does some impressive character work and crafts so many little twists you won't see coming. Even if you're sad about the Never After series ending, you'll want to pick up Hexed again as soon as you finish it.

The Lady He Lost

6. The Lady He Lost by Faye Delacour

The final book making my list is The Lady He Lost by Faye Delacour. As a debut historical romance, this one was incredibly fun and incredibly underrated. This romance follows Eli and Jane who had feelings for each other as teens yet things never went anywhere as he became engaged to her cousin. When Eli gets shipwrecked, everyone presumes he's dead until he shows back up and it's honestly a wild ride. If you're craving something with Bridgerton vibes, then The Lady He Lost will fill that void until we get more from Shonda Rimes and her crew.

As with my other lists, I'm going to include a few honorable mentions of titles I loved but just didn't make the list. The titles are as follows: The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden, The Fire Between High & Lo by Brittainy Cherry, Off to the Races by Elsie Silver and Riley Thorn and The Dead Guy Next Door by Lucy Score.
