As fans of American Horror Story, we were thrilled when we got even more horror in the form of American Horror Stories on Hulu. And while the first season had its fair share of ups and downs, for the most part, each episode offered a brilliant look at the world created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Renewed before the first season had even ended its run, we already knew that we would be getting even more tales of terror in the world of American Horror Stories, but now we actually know when that will be happening.

According to Gamestop, the official premiere date for Season 2 of American Horror Stories is set for July 21. This means that once again we will be getting a summer of horror streaming on Hulu.

American Horror Stories returns to Hulu for Season 2 on July 21

Around the time that the series was renewed, FX (which is of course the home of the original anthology series) revealed that American Horror Stories was the “most successful to date of any FX on Hulu series.” While this could be considered a bit of bragging since streaming numbers are never quite as clear about their viewership numbers in comparison to network TV, it is definitely clear that both FX and Hulu have faith in the anthology spin-off in terms of bringing in the views.

And we can honestly say that we cannot wait to see what Falchuk and Murphy have in store for us in Season 2. We can’t wait to see if they revisit the Murder House again or if they decide to utilize other iconic settings from the original anthology series. Perhaps we will get some stories centered around the coven in New Orleans or even some more haunting tales from the summer camp from the 1984 season. Even if the series chooses to opt for fresh stories that have no relation to the main storylines, we can’t wait to see what July 21 has in store for us.
