Fear The Walking Dead season 6 continues to slay our feelings as well as the dead with this week’s new episode “J.D.”. While this installment isn’t technically a tribute to beloved cowboy John Dorie who was killed by Dakota in the mid-season premiere it does have callbacks and connections that are a reminder that we really haven’t had the chance to grieve for John.

There are also some significant developments that provide background on who Teddy is and what the cult all about. Although it remains to be seen why they wanted that key so badly the fact that Morgan gave it to them is bound to lead to some very bad things that the survivors are going to have to try and prevent.

Alicia is still being held captive by Teddy at the Holding but hopefully, with new information that comes to light in this episode, Morgan and the others will be able to make an attempt to save her and stop Teddy before some very bad things happen.

The synopsis for Fear The Walking Dead season 6 episode 13, “J.D.”, reads:

"“June splits off from the group in an effort to gather any information to help stop an oncoming threat.”"

But, as usual, the synopsis doesn’t really begin to describe the complexity of the story. You can watch a sneak peek here:
