Some celebrities just have magnetic personalities, and we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing more from these 10 over the upcoming year.

When it comes to celebrities, some are more fun to follow than others. While there are quite a few whose antics may have turned fans off in 2020, there are just as many who gave standout performances, practiced admiral social activism, and left us with a general feeling of wanting more from them. After all, when someone gives off a magnetic vibe both in and out of their work, it’s natural fans will want to see what they’re up to next.

So, which celebrities stole our hearts in 2020 and left us eager to see more from them in 2021? Well, there were a few, but let’s start with these three stars from the Star Wars franchise.

Pedro Pascal

Is there any doubt that Pedro Pascal stole the show in 2020? Between season two of The Mandalorian, his role as Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984and being cast in We Can Be Heroes (which dropped on Netflix on January 1), Pascal is quickly becoming  a household name. (And let’s be honest, we wouldn’t complain if he adopted us right alongside Baby Yoda, am I right?)

With a third season of The Mandalorian on the way, it’s a given that we will see more of Pascal in the future, but we also wouldn’t complain if he broke into some new franchises. (Put Pascal in the MCU, you cowards!)

John Boyega

John Boyega is best known for his role as Finn in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, though he’s recently become recognized for speaking out on important social issues — meaning he’s showcased talent and some serious integrity and courage over the past couple of years. Not only did he spend plenty of time in 2020 advocating for Black Lives Matter — even giving passionate speeches at a protest or two — but Boyega spoke out against Disney’s treatment of his character and characters of color in general, something that will hopefully be heard and improved upon moving forward.

We’d love to see Boyega delve further into his activism in the future, and we’d also love to see him in more movies (or even television series) — because it’s clear he’s got what it takes to do big things. He recently had a role in Small Axe, and he’s got quite a few projects currently in pre-production. Whether we’ll see more of his acting this year remains to be seen, but we can hope!

Oscar Isaac

Rounding out our Star Wars trinity here is Oscar Isaac, who also starred in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, bringing the character Poe Dameron to life. Isaac recently went viral for celebrating New Year’s Eve with Pedro Pascal, and while we’d love to see more of their friendship, we’d also love to see more of Isaac in general.

With Dune arriving at the end of 2021, moviegoers will get to see Isaac portray the role of Duke Leto Atreides, and beyond that, it seems he has plenty of projects on the way. Not only will he voice Gomez again in The Addams Family 2, but he’ll be starring in Marvel’s Moon Knight series on Disney+. We’d also love to see him return to voice Spider-Man 2099 in Into the Spider-Verse 2, though that hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.
