From Hill House to Bly Manor, Oliver Jackson-Cohen is back for even more thrills, chills, and ghostly scares in the next haunting tale from Netflix.

In Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House, Oliver Jackson-Cohen played one of the Crain siblings left tormented by their family home and the devastating loss of their mother. In the series, Jackson-Cohen brought to life Luke, twin to the equally tragic Nell, and an addict struggling to deal with the horrors of his childhood.

And while the Crain family’s story may be over, the hauntings never stop. With Netflix moving forward with a brand new haunting tale, we now know that Oliver Jackson-Cohen will once again be gracing our screens in the Haunting of Bly Manor.

In a tweet from the Haunting series page, we got to see the actor himself share the news (have to love actually hearing his British accent in effect), as he explained that he is “joining the Haunting of Bly Manor.” And based on the way he shared the news, it seems he may have known for quite a while, as he says he felt like he had been “holding onto this for months.”

While we do not know much about the new series itself yet, according to Netflix, Oliver Jackson-Cohen will be playing a character by the name of Peter. Peter is the kind of guy that they describe as charming, but that doesn’t mean anything when you consider the fact that he’s going to cause problems for the people of Bly Manor.

Also during his announcement, Jackson-Cohen tells Victoria Pedretti, who played his twin sister Nell in Haunting of Hill House and who has already been announced as a member of the Haunting of Bly Manor cast, that he is coming to find her. And if that’s not the cutest thing, I don’t know what is.

Knowing that we are definitely getting at least two of the original cast members from Haunting of Hill House back for another round of haunting is exciting. The cast had such an amazing chemistry with one another during the first series that it was hard to look away from the horrors they were dealing with. And that is what made the first season so enjoyable: the fact that these characters drew us in just as much as their story.

I can’t wait to see how Oliver Jackson-Cohen’s character makes life difficult for the people in Bly Manor, and I’m looking forward to seeing the new dynamic between the actor and the rest of the cast.
