A new behind-the-scenes look at Titans has surfaced thanks to a picture posted to Twitter. And what has us talking is our new look at Superboy.

In an after-credits scene following the season one finale of Titans, viewers were treated to a glimpse of Superboy and his trusty canine sidekick, Krypto. While we never saw the character’s face (Titans had not yet cast the role), there was no doubt as to who we were seeing. And now with the series back on set, we are getting our first real look at Superboy.

According to CBR, a behind-the-scenes photo was posted to Twitter showing Joshua Orpin as Superboy. And when we say Orpin was Superboy, we mean it. After all, in the picture, we get to see the actor wearing a black T-shirt with the “S” symbol on it and a pair of blue pants.

If you are a fan of the Titans comics, then you already recognize this look as it is virtually ripped right from the pages of the comic. As fans, this is exciting to see because it gives us hope that the series is going to give us the character we fell in love with in the comics to begin with.

That being said, while this could be the Superboy costume, there is always a chance that this is not the final look that Orpin will be rocking in Titans season 2. In fact, while the black T-shirt and blue pants are one of the more popular looks that the character has worn in the comics, it is not the only one he has donned.

Another costume that Superboy has worn is a play off of Superman’s iconic suit, but with a leather jacket instead of a cape. A second variation of the Superman suit that Superboy has worn featured the spandex look without a cape or a leather jacket, and featuring some added details (the kind a teenager would add to make their super suit look cool).

One of the comic costumes that Weird Science has spotlighted is the all-black super suit that features the red “S” symbol. While black is a good look, it also makes Superboy look more like a villain than a hero, so this one doesn’t feel like a choice the series will be making (but you never know).

The comics have also seen Superboy in black jeans with a white and black shirt that has a backwards “S” that is not as stylized as the classic symbol. However, this look was not nearly as popular, which makes this one a lot less likely to happen.

Ultimately, we will have to wait until Titans gives us official looks at Superboy and Krypto before we know for sure which costume the character will be wearing with the team. But, here’s hoping that we get to see the iconic black T-shirt with jeans (yes it really is iconic), because not only is that the look we want to see, but it is also the character’s best look.
