Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: A possible return

When things like who’s at what location could mean significant Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers, then it’s time to give the latest update.

Warning: While this will focus on a few actors from Game of Thrones and recent updates that may indicate where they are, there will be discussion of recent spoilers as well as the usual theorizing.

Never discount the power of Game of Thrones fans to find every single tidbit they can about their favorite show. We know we’ve said similar before, but today’s set of season 8 spoilers seems to reinforce that lesson again just to make sure we’ve got it.

Twitter user A Red Priestess is at it again — this time not with their own photos, but with a pair of key retweets showing that at least two actors are in or probably in Belfast.

Here’s perhaps the more important of the two, a photo taken by Ryzo on Twitter.

We’d recognize that head of hair (and the facial hair) pretty much anywhere. In a thread of replies, Ryzo confirmed that this photo is from today, at least in Belfast time:

Although it’s not much of a shock, considering yesterday’s Omaze video that had Harington in costume, it’s a nice extra bit of confirmation that yes, he’s there, working on Game of Thrones.

Meanwhile, although it didn’t come with a photo, this looks like a pretty good indication that Nathalie Emmanuel is back at work as Missandei:

She’s spoken recently about how she’s not quite in demand as, say, Harington, who’s already flown off to Dubrovnik at least once in this season’s production. Of course, this could be a bit of a red herring — perhaps she’s not in Belfast at all and merely wanted to tweet about the last time she was there in order to fool fans. However, that seems like quite a bit of effort to go to.
