Injustice 2 Will Be Available as a Mobile Version Soon

At least we can be thankful that one division of DC/Warner Bros. knows what they’re doing and will continue to give fans faithful portrayals of characters.

Look, here’s what we know so far: The Batman Movie is falling apart. Additionally, The Flash can’t keep a director. And Amber Heard is building muscle in the gym in preparation for her role as Mera in Aquaman.

So it’s becoming increasingly difficult to depend on the DCEU. Though, we can still depend on other divisions to bring us some cool adaptations of the iconic characters we know and love. For example, it was the video games that gave Harley Quinn her awesome makeover that inspired her look for Suicide Squad. And if you thought Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice didn’t have enough action, nobody puts together an awesome action sequence like Ed Boon, the creative director of Injustice and creator of Mortal Kombat.

Now Injustice 2 hits shelves in just a few months. Ahead of its release, we also learned that a mobile version of the game is nearly ready.

In case you missed it, Injustice 2 plays just like any other combat game. However, it doubles the action with awesome finishing moves unique to each superhero and villain. Plus, it features a compelling narrative.

Of course, we’ve been waiting for this scaled version of Injustice 2 to hit mobile devices in the United States since last year. But the Philippines already got its first demo! Luckily, this means we get a gameplay video instead.

Check out the gameplay video below:

Obviously, it’s super similar to most of the content we’ve already seen. Except Injustice 2 introduces various game mechanics we won’t be seeing on traditional platforms. Like, I think Wonder Woman will be one of the base characters on the PS4/Xbox One and not someone we’ll have to unlock or win.

Injustice 2 hits regular platforms on May 16. Unfortunately, no release date has been set for the mobile game in the United States.
