The 100's Conageddon 5 was one epic weekend for the fans

Fans came to celebrate The 100 in a three-day event.

Whoever thought that a dystopian series, such as the CW's The 100, would bring in fans for a celebration that ejected positivity and connections. Conageddon 5 did just that, and from March 14th through the 16th in Boston, fans and the stars of The 100 were treated like royalty. It was an experience to remember, basking in the kindness of fandom.

Each year, I anticipate Conageddon, and I wouldn't miss it for the universe. Although this year presented a greater physical challenge for me due to a broken foot, the event substantially exceeded its expectations. Then again, it has done so since its initiation in The 100 culture in 2018 and will remain a permanent fixture. Now, I cannot disconnect the convention from the show, as Conageddon wouldn't exist if it hadn't been for The 100 landing on our screens.

More importantly, Conageddon is the place where people either reunite or meet for the first time, forming lifelong friendships, with a profound determination to go back.

Conageddon 5 was the signature The 100 fans' escape

Let's admit it. Conageddon only delivers the very best in The 100 con environment, given its intimate and up-close interactions with the series' cast. Having met several celebrities in my life, I can deeply and passionately affirm that the stars of the CW show are some of the most down-to-earth people and will give everyone their heart and soul.

The 2025 edition's roster included Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Tasya Teles, Marie Avgeropoulos, Richard Harmon, Jessica Harmon, Thomas McDonnell, Lola Flanery, Zach McGowan, Chelsey Reist, and Christopher Larkin. Each had an exclusive VIP group, which offered breakfast, photo ops, and other goodies that would delight anyone.

The Friday night VIP Party on March 14th kicked off Conageddon's festivities as attendees got to hang out and catch up with one another before the shenanigans erupted. This year's party was more relaxed, but nonetheless enjoyable, as Lola played her spins at the DJ table once again, and a robot had to get his dance moves in.

One magical moment that occurred at the VIP party was a proposal. To live and share in that couple's next step in their life journey is indescribable and was one of my (many) favorite things from Conageddon this year.

Then, you have the classic ping-pong game, but only Bob and Zach played it this year. Despite the two-player game, it's always a treat to watch and reminds me of my late high school and early college days.

Avery Martin, a fellow fan and friend, worked tirelessly at capturing the peak highlights. His recap Reels are out of this world and they beam you right back to the con. Even if one hadn't attended, some admitted that watching Avery's Reels made them feel like they were there, even if it was brief.

As for the panels, the cast shared secrets, Twitter tweets from 2014, and answered fans' burning questions. Jo Garfein was the moderator, and as always, she did a spectacular job of ramping up the hype and energy. She's just a lovely gem of a human and has done so much for cancer advocacy with her nonprofit, Cancer Gets Lost.

During the Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor panel, the rough-cut trailer for their short film, Status: Active, was shown. In the trailer, Eliza is portrayed as an app shopper who stresses throughout the day, grabbing items for clients. As someone who works in the grocery industry, the film's character resonates with me because I have personally experienced granting unusual order requests from customers.

The 100 cast reveal their favorite Conageddon 5 moments and will there be a Conageddon 6?

In a short series of Cameos, Bob, Eliza, and Tasya all shared their favorite moments from Con 5 and answered the question of whether there will be a Conageddon 6. We all want it, as there's nothing like it.

However, it appears that the dances are the most popular among the three. Additionally, Tasya explains why she had to cut her time short this year, as she was busy filming her comedy series, Shoresy. Although she was missed, her time was treasured.

More Conageddon 5 bits

Finishing up, here are a few more bits of pieces from that epic con weekend! Is really over though if you are constantly reflecting back and feeling its warmth?

  • In case you haven't heard, Marie dropped an album titled BumbleBee. It's filled with sultry tracks, and she even performed them at Conageddon. I was unfortunate not to get a copy, but it's great to see talents being explored beyond our expectations.
  • Bellamy Blake's body wasn't shown entirely, so that gives me hope that he survived and transcended. My personal theory is that one of the Eligius prisoners was a criminal doctor who saved Bellamy's life and therefore redeeming himself.
  • Zach has always been that guy to get the parties at their highest momentum, just letting go and releasing the negativity.

All seven season seasons of The 100 can be streamed on Netflix US. As for Conageddon 6? We will meet again!
