PlayStation Plus Essential tier members will be happy to find a much more solid set of games for free in March. The subscription service has been a little lacking since to start of 2024 with plenty of grumblings from subscribers.

Here are your free games for the month of March:

  • EA Sports F1 23
  • Sifu
  • Hello Neighbor 2
  • Destiny 2: Witch Queen

First up is EA Sports F1 23, your Formula One racing game for the month. This is the standard yearly output for this series. There are plenty of different modes for you to choose from and a fun career mode. You even get a new chapter in the "Breaking Point" story mode and new circuits to race at Las Vegas and Qatar.

Next in March is probably the reigning game this month, Sifu. This is unlike any other beat-'em-up game you've ever played combat-wise, and it made our list of games you should have played in 2022.

Every time you die, your character ages. Which makes you stronger in power but weaker overall. It's a very interesting game loop to try to learn and overcome. Sifu isn't a long game by any means, but its replayability sticks with you for some time. The story is engrossing, the combat is complex, and it all makes you want to avenge your father's unjust death.

Hello Neighbor 2 is a sequel to the 2017 horror game. This is very much a family-friendly horror game, so don't expect hardcore scares. You play as an investigative journalist in the town of Raven Brooks, trying to uncover the dark secrets of Mr. Peterson and your neighborhood. It throws a lot of creative ideas at you, but kind of muddles them up a bit too much and ends up being more frustrating than the first game.

Last up in March is Destiny 2: Witch Queen. The caveat here is that you have to own Destiny 2 to have access to play Witch Queen, but it is a pretty fun expansion to the game. It's the best story the game has offered yet and adds a weapon crafting system that will make hardcore fans incredibly happy. Just don't have your hopes set high for a better PvP system.

Also, if you play The Finals, you have access to two outfits and twelve weapon skins as a PS Plus subscriber!
