Trombone Shorty took his talents to Raising Cane's
Raising Cane's is a must-stop shop for celebrities and honestly, we're here for it. Most recently, the chain employed Trombone Shorty.
While you might know him from his performances as a jazz musician, Trombone Shorty aka Troy Andrews is now a Raising Cane's employee. Okay, well maybe not officially but he did clock in for his "shift" as a Raising Cane's worker.
Shorty's shift took place in New Orleans as he was about to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Coupled with the fact that Raising Cane's started in Lousiana, this felt like a match made in heaven.
During his shift, Trombone Shorty not only served up box combos but also met with fans and even, talked with the media. All in all, it seemed like a very fruitful and tender-filled day for Trombone Shory and the Raising Cane's crew.
What is Trombone Shorty's Raising Cane's order?
Aside from being a part of the Raising Cane's crew, the celebrities also get a chance to get a meal which is a massive perk. Given that I was at Post Malone's Dallas event, I can confidently say that getting a meal after everything is done is the most satisfying part. Plus it truly makes all of the work feel worth it.
However, Trombone Shorty has a unique take on the classic Raising Cane's combo. When asked what his go-to order was, he said: "My go-to order is a Box Combo with hot sauce, which I mix into the Cane’s Sauce with my fries..." Honestly, I've never thought about mixing Cane's Sauce and hot sauce but it seems like it would be a fun flavor. Either way, his answer was too good not to share.
In addition to talking about his appreciation for Raising Cane's, he also spoke about his appearance at Jazz Fest: "Jazz Fest is a beautiful thing because you get a true taste of Louisiana and New Orleans culture..." As you can see, it was truly a fun and exciting day for Raising Cane's. Plus Trombone Shorty even brought his trombone along which was no doubt, delightful.
Raising Cane's is truly giving us an up close and personal chance to meet with our favorite hometown stars and those beyond our hometown. You never know who is going to clock in next for a shift at your local Raising Cane's.
