Peacock is home to some of the best horror series out there and now, we can add Teacup to the list.

With all the excitement around the series, it's no surprise that Teacup was one of the main attractions for Peacock at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Given that SDCC finally feels like it's back to normal, we are so excited.

Most notably, the Teacup panel gave us a lot of answers to the burning questions we've had about the series including when it premieres, the dates of upcoming episodes, and even shared a teaser with those who were lucky enough to attend.

Thankfully, the trailer is also available on Youtube which we'll be featuring below. Either way, this series looks creepy and is the ultimate watch before Halloween to get yourself in a scary mood.

Peacock brought Teacup to San Diego Comic-Con for horror lovers.

Of course, we have to start with what Teacup is. If you don't know, the official description for Teacup is: "TEACUP follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. Inspired by the New York Times bestselling novel Stinger by Robert McCammon." I feel like survival stories are such a huge part of pop culture right now so this feels like a perfect one to try out especially if you love horror.

With that said, Teacup will be premiering on October 10th, 2024. From there, there will be two episodes dropping weekly up until Halloween. Talk about the perfect countdown to spooky season. I don't know about you but as a horror fan, I see James Wan's name and I'm sold so seeing him listed as an executive producer already has me so excited.

While James Wan is an EP for the series, Ian McCulloch is the showrunner and EP. You might recognize McCulloch from hits such as Yellowstone and Chicago Fire. He was a consulting producer for both so it's awesome to see him now being a showrunner and EP for Teacup. Aside from the crew, the show is going to star Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman among others.

If all that info and the teaser weren't enough to convince you, then maybe this quote from James Wan will: "Teacup defies easy labels. It's a genre-bending blend of horror, mystery, and drama, with layers that unfold like a captivating puzzle. It goes beyond chills and thrills and holds up a mirror to humanity, exploring the darkness that resides within us all. We hope you enjoy this wild ride as much as we've loved creating it!" I don't know about you, but that's enough to have me tuned in.

Teacup will premiere on Peacock on October 10th, 2024.
