See the highlights from the 2024 People's Choice Awards

The People's Choice Awards opened the floor with a pre-show skit with the host of the evening: Simu Liu, the Shang-Chi, and the Legend of the Ten Rings star. He opened the night with a humorous monologue while the first presenter Jeremy Renner came out to the stage to announce the nominees for the first award.

Billie Eilish crowned television performance for Swarm as Eilish gave her acceptance speech and dedicated the award to her co-star Dominique Fishback.

The next round of nominees in TV was for Sci-Fi and the People's Choice went to Loki and Tom Hiddleston accepted the award and thanked everyone involved in making Loki. Then there was a lit-up performance by country music artist Lainey Wilson.

Apple TV original The Morning Show star Jennifer Aniston honored and presented the award for People's Icon to Adam Sandler. Sandler walked up to the stage to accept the award and gave a humorous acceptance speech, thanking his friends, family, his daughter, his wife Jackie, and everyone who voted for him for People's Icon.

Anyone But You stars Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney came out to the stage to present the nominees for a female country artist. The People's Choice crowned Lainey Wilson who previously performed earlier in the evening.

Steering into the rock-n-roll catering of the evening, the next presenter honored and awarded Lenny Kravitz as the People's Choice Music Icon. This also included a performance by the music legend himself. Kravitz accepted the award and thanked everyone while thinking about what to say as Kravitz continued with his acceptance speech.

The next nominees were announced for TV Drama actor and the People's Choice award went to Jennifer Aniston. The next category for nominees in Film Performance went to America Ferrera for Barbie.

The highlight of the event was Ice Spice accepting her People's Choice for New Artist and thanking everyone. Following that, Kathryn Hahn came out to the stage to announce a music performance by Kylie Minogue.

Rachel Ziegler took home the People's Choice in Action Movie Star for The Hunger Games prequel, but Pedro Pascal steered the attention by winning the People's Choice for Male TV Star for The Last of Us.
