Reese's Medals are here ahead of 2024 Summer Olympics
Reese's is going for gold and we're all winners. Ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics, the brand launched its new shape: Reese's Medals.
With the Summer Olympics beginning in July, a lot of us are looking forward to all the medals Team USA will win. For those who aren't as athletically gifted, we're still able to get a Reese's Medal which is a close runner-up.
These Reese's Medals are available for a limited time and come in snack, king, and standard size so you can satisfy your craving, no matter how large. The launch of this new shape comes in tandem with the Reese's Legend vs Newcomer Campaign.
While the campaign is focused on members of Team USA, the brand also included its two contenders for the Legend vs Newcomer Campaign. For Reese's, it's all about the original Reese's Peanut Butter Cup as the legend and the newcomer is obviously the Reese's Medals.
Reese's ushers in a new product and campaign for Summer 2024.
For the campaign, Reese's recruited two pairs of athletes from Team USA with USA Olympians and Paralympics. From the Paralympic USA Team, Reese's brought in Jessica Long, a paralympic swimmer as the legend. Long has won 29 Paralympic medals during her career so far and honestly, that's a true legend.
As for the Paralympic newcomer, Reese's recruited Haven Shepherd. Shepherd is also a swimmer and is attending her first Paralympic Games this year. From this first matchup, it's clear Reese's chose some heavy hitters as Jessica is truly a legend and Haven is just getting started but sometimes the best is yet to come.
Moving onto the Olympians, the legend Reese's chose is Alex Morgan. Morgan's career is already accomplished, not including her time at the Olympics. Then for the newcomer, the brand chose Sophia Smith who is hoping to attend the 2024 Olympics. As you can see, it's the same situation as the previous pair so I'm anxious to see all 4 of these Team USA athletes compete.
No matter if you're watching the Olympics or not, you can still enjoy the taste of Reese's Medals as they're available now. The press release from Hershey's also shared that: "Reese's Medals join Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolates with patriotic foils and Ice Breakers Limited Edition Golden Pineapple Gum and Mints as part of The Hershey Company's full roster of products celebrating Team USA this summer." As you can tell, it's going to be a summer of great fun for Hershey fans and Olympic watchers alike.
