Popeyes pays homage to Taylor Swift with its new promo
If there's one group you want on your side, it's the Swifties and Popeyes knows that. That's why they recently launched a new campaign called "The Hungry Loyalty Department."
For those of us who have been listening to The Tortured Poets Department non-stop, this is such a great nod to Swift. While nothing can compare to listening ot her, sometimes all you really need is to enjoy a Popeyes sandwich while listening to her.
Of course, the brand didn't go halfway on this either as the campaign even includes a secret message as Taylor loves a good secret message hidden in her albums. Additionally, there is even a little bit of shade shared within the message.
All of this ultimately ties into it being National Customer Appreciation Day which is on May 17th and is a great day if you're a Popeyes Rewards Member. If you spend at least $10.00, you'll be getting a free chicken sandwich which is being credited as 600 bonus points. It might be the push you need to try the Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich.
Popeyes drops a great deal for Swifties and non-Swifties alike.
If you don't want to be spoiled for the secret message: Click away now. If you want to know, I'm going to share what it is and honestly, it's a surprisingly shady message shared by Popeyes. I mean I'm kinda here for it as we all know that Taylor Swift isn't afraid to throw a little shade herself.
With that being said the message is: "OPEN ON SUNDAYS." This was clearly meant to be a knock on Chick-fil-A and honestly, I think that's perfectly shady. Coupled with the Taylor Swift reference, I don't know how you can say no to spending at least $10.00 and getting a free chicken sandwich as Popeyes is one of the best.
Whether you're grabbing a meal for lunch and then need something for dinner or are craving Popeyes, this is a deal worth looking into. Plus Popeyes is smart to try to get the Swifties on their side. All in all, "The Hungry Loyalty Department" is such a fun nod to Taylor Swift and something even the most casual fans can appreciate.
