Disney Lorcana drops its new cards featuring an unexpected film

Despite only being around for a year, Disney Lorcana has already garnered tons of fans and honestly, we're here for it.

At Culturess, we're all about Disney and having fun which is exactly what Ravensburger set out to do in teaming up with Disney for Disney Lorcana. If you're unfamiliar, Disney Lorcana is a trading card game where you're in control as the characters all reside in Lorcana.

Whether you're a fan of card games or just love Disney, Disney Lorcana is worth looking into, and even more so, now. The company is launching a new set of trading cards to be used while you're playing and it's centered around an unlikely set of characters from a criminally underrated film.

If you saw the image above, you'll know exactly what film these cards are from but if you don't, it's Brother Bear. Released in 2003, that is one of the few Disney films that never got the love it deserved so it's nice to see Disney Lorcana using it now.

Let's get into the cards and then we'll talk about Shimmering Skies as it's an exciting new chapter for Disney Lorcana so let's get into it.

As you can see, each of these cards features a different character from Brother Bear along with their role which truly makes sense with their character. First is Koja who is the Talkative Cub, Kenai is Big Brother, Rutt is Northern Moose, Tuke is Northern Moose, Tanana is the Wise Woman and lastly, Denahi is the Avenging Brother.

The corner of each card also features the artist for each of these cards and frankly, they're all different aside from Tuke and Rutt. Honestly, that makes sense, but this reveal comes at the perfect time as Shimmering Skies is set to release on August 9th in hobby stores and on August 23rd everywhere. Of course, these cards are going to be appearing in Shimmering Skies.
