Mariah Carey will have the honor of opening the NFL Halftime Show on Christmas Day, which will stream on Netflix. The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, which will be played at 1 PM EST/12 Noon CST, will be the platform's first live football event.

The Queen of Christmas performance at the Halftime Show will not be live, but a taped one. A few days before the game, she'll record a special take on her hit 1994 hit holiday track, "All I Want For Christmas Is You," which will be used exclusively for the event.

While Mariah will be the opener for the Chiefs vs. the Steelers, another top artist, Beyoncé will be performing at Halftime for the Houston Texans vs. the Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas. Unlik Mariah, her performance will be live in Houston. So, you'll have these these two vibrant and talented women getting the fans revved up for the game plays and holidays.

The game will be at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, and the first one on Christmas. The seats are expected to be packed, as the Chiefs have won nearly every game this season, and fans naturally want to be a part of the action.
