When it comes to gifting this year, there is nothing better than a subscription. It's the gift that keeps on giving and one of the best is Everand.
Full of audiobooks, ebooks, podcasts, and much more, Everand has everything to keep you from falling into a reading slump and busting your winter blues. As someone who uses Everand and was gifted a subscription by the company, I truly couldn't be happier.
Before we skip ahead to 2025 though, I wanted to share a few romances available to listen to on Everand that are worth your time. Given Everand's recent shift to Standard and Plus subscriptions, you might have some credits to use or need to find something that is in the brand's "Unlimited" category.
No matter which camp you're in, we're sharing some of our favorite romances that are currently available to read on Everand. Thankfully if you're new to Everand, you can get a 30-day free trial to get a taste of Everand and see if it's the platform for you.
These 6 romances are all available to read on Everand.
Since Everand has recently shifted its plan, most of these titles are going to be from the brand's Unlimited offerings. However, there will be some premium picks as well if you're looking to use your credits before 2024 ends.
1. A Taste of Her Own Medicine by Tasha L. Harrison
The first title is unlimited and that's A Taste of Her Own Medicine by Tasha L. Harrison. If you haven't picked up a book by Tasha L. Harrison before, what are you doing? Her books are absolutely incredible and her A Small Town Romance series is amazing. This story follows Sonja who is branching out after her divorce as she's trying to get her business off the ground but ends up meeting someone instead.
This is a great one to start with as it's the start of a series and if you like it, you can keep going and read the rest of the series. Coupled with the excellent character work and incredible romance with some great steamy moments, this is one you won't want to put down.
2. Meet Cute Club by Jack Harbon
It feels like Meet Cute Club was everywhere and honestly, it needs to come back. This is an m/m romance following two men who meet at a bookstore and immediately don't hit it off. Jordan just wants to read romance books in peace and not have his book club invaded by Rex. However, it's clear the two have a connection that goes beyond the book club.
This is a slightly shorter book so if you're looking for one to read to complete your reading challenge, this is a great one. Meet Cute Club also has one of my favorite grand gestures from any romance book so there's that. To put it simply, this one is fun, cute and the best way to end a tough year.
3. Being Merry by Meka James
For the final Unlimited pick, I had to go with a Christmas romance and one I rarely see getting love is Being Merry by Meka James. This is apart of her Desert Rose Hook-Ups series but you don't have to read the first two books before picking it up. However, they're both so good so this is basically 3 recommendations in one.
If you're looking for an adorable grumpy-sunshine sapphic story, then Being Merry is the gift you won't want to put down. Once again, this is a short read and will have you ready to make a cup of hot cocoa and cuddle up to see how these two get together.
4. Flirty Little Secret by Jessica Lepe
If you have credits to use, why not use one on Flirty Little Secret? This is a book I've already read and loved this year as I got an early copy. The story feels like You've Got Mail meets Abbott Elementary yet it's so much more than that. With two complex leads in Lucy and Fletcher, these two will have you ready to grade them on their lives, their relationship, and just how many tests they'll endure before it ends in a HEA.
5. Barely Even Friends by Mae Bennett
Next up is another 2024 release I enjoyed which is Barely Even Friends. As with the previous release, this is one I was sent early so I could read and review it. If you love Beauty and the Beast, then this book will have you kicking your feet while reading. We're following Bellamy as she's tasked with restoring a beloved yet gloomy mansion. She also has to thaw the mansion's resident: Oliver who is dealing with some past trauma and some undeniable grumpiness.
With so many nods to the Disney classic and plenty of details you can't help but smile at, Barely Even Friends is one that flew under the radar. Even so, it's a great one to pick up and try out before the year ends.
6. The Next Best Fling by Gabriella Gamez
If you're sensing a theme here, it's that I've read and reviewed this book already. With that being said, The Next Best Fling was Gabriella Gamez's romance debut and I loved it. This book feels soapy in the best way as we're following Marcela who is in love with her best friend, Ben, and doesn't know how to say anything. Things get even worse when he announces his engagement and she overhears Ben's brother, Theo trying to profess his love to his brother's fiance.
From there, it's a full-on fake dating situation. With loads of chemistry between the leads, some great steamy scenes, and some downright drama, The Next Best Fling is another title that flew under the radar this year. If you haven't picked it up yet, there is no better time than the present.
Those are just some of my suggestions for Everand reads to end the year with. However, it's up to you and your credits on what you want to try out. If anything, you could even gift yourself a subscription for Christmas to start the fun before 2025 is here. Either way, you're sure to find something you love while browsing Everand's massive selection.
