Summer is upon us and what better time than now to start picking up some romance books? If you're like me though, you've already been reading romance throughout the entire year.

However some need an excuse to pick up a romance book and summer is the perfect time. That's why I wanted to share some of the June romance releases I'm adding to my TBR. While I've already reviewed a few, others are headed to my TBR.

Whether you're planning a trip in June or know you'll have some extra time during the summer months, reading is a great hobby to pick up. Personally, I find myself reading more in the summer months because I'd rather be inside under the AC, enjoying some time with my Kindle or my favorite physical read.

Regardless if you only read 2 books a month or 20 books a month, you're sure to find something new to add to your TBR in June.

These 5 romance books are coming in June and to our TBRs.

1. Caught Up by Navessa Allen

Normally with these lists, I don't try to focus on incredibly popular titles but I couldn't make this list without including Caught Up by Navessa Allen. This is the follow-up to Lights Out and this time, we're following Nico/Junior and his romance with Lauren. If you read Lights Out, then you'll know that Navessa Allen gave us a short preview of what we're getting and there's a lot to be excited about.

While I was originally given an ARC of this one, I knew I wouldn't get to it before its release date on June 10th. However, I will be getting to it as soon as I can because I just adore Navessa Allen's writing.

2. Finders Keepers by Sarah Adler

The second book on my list is one I immediately added to my TBR as I've read Sarah Adler's two previous works and enjoyed them. Once again, I'm going to try to squeeze this one so maybe you'll see a review for it in June. Considering it comes out on June 24th, there is still plenty of time to get caught up and hopefully, get it read.

Finders Keepers is a romance with a treasure hunt at its core, as we're following Quentin and Nina who decide to complete their past treasure hunt. It sounds like it's going to be fun and full of hijinks while also having a slightly emotional beat. That's something Sarah Adler balances incredibly well in her books, so this one was a no-brainer to include on the list.

3. Total Dreamboat by Katelyn Doyle

Next up is a book from an author I've never read from before but I'm super excited to try out. You might recognize Katelyn Doyle from her debut novel, Just Some Stupid Love Story. Her next release is Total Dreamboat which is being released on June 24th. As you can see, June 24th is going to be a huge day for book releases.

Total Dreamboat follows Hope and Felix who end up on the same cruise. At first, the two are hating it until they lock eyes and from there, it seems almost too good to be true. All of that comes crashing down when the two end up stranded and from there, the real tension comes in. Honestly, this sounds like the perfect book to pick up if you're headed on a cruise or have a beach vacation planned this summer.

4. Alice Chen's Reality Check by Kara Loo and Jennifer Young

Let me be totally honest and share that I don't exclusively read romance. While 98% of my reading is romance books, I do occasionally read thrillers or mysteries. That's why the premise for Alice Chen's Reality Check seemed perfect for me. Released on June 3rd, the good news is that you can already grab this one, so you don't have to wait to read it. You can read it as soon as you finish this post if you'd like.

Written by Kara Loo and Jennifer Young, this book follows Alice, who is currently on the reality show, Dawn Tay's Inferno until her fiancé breaks up with her and she's forced to fake-date her high school rival. Things get even more chaotic when a dead body is discovered which just sounds like an absolutely wild ride.

5. Plus Size Player by Danielle Allen

The last book on my list is Plus Size Player by Danielle Allen. While I didn't absolutely love the first book in this series, I'm incredibly excited for Plus Size Player. This is being released on June 10th and feels like the perfect sizzling read to pick up this summer. This is another one I'm hoping to read before June ends because it sounds absolutely incredible.

Plus Size Player follows Nina who is truly a player as she has a man for every single mood she's in or what she's craving. However, things get even spicier for her as she ends up finding a man whom she wants to be with but there are some complications. Honestly, this one was already on my TBR as soon as I saw the cover but if you haven't picked up Danielle Allen, why wait?

Those are just some of the June romance books I'm adding to my TBR. Hopefully, some of these will end up on your TBR as well. If anything, one of these might be that perfect vacation read you've been craving.
