It feels like the year just started and now we're decking halls and getting ready to wrap presents. As they always say, we're better late than never with our Christmas TBR for this year.

No matter what you're in the mood for, there are plenty of great Christmas romances out there and they're all going to be Harlequin releases. This is a post I'm working on with Harlequin and as a huge fan of the publisher, this feels like a gift in itself.

I'd like to thank Harlequin for putting these titles on my radar and helping me get into the Christmas spirit. Frankly, it can be tough when you're working to try to get into the holiday spirit, but cracking open a Harlequin might be the little bit of Christmas magic you need.

If you're not a reader, then you might find a new book to add to someone's stocking, to throw into a gift bag or just to give them before Christmas is officially here. However, no one said anything about not reading Christmas romances through the end of the year so either way, there is still plenty of time.

These 5 Christmas romances are on our holiday TBR list.

The Anti-Social Season

1. The Anti-Social Season by Adele Buck

Harlequin launched its Afterglow Books imprint which is one I've been keeping my eye on since its first roll-out of releases. For Christmas, the imprint released The Anti-Social Season which follows Thea and Simon as they reconnect. The two knew each other in high school and are meeting again as adults which just sounds so fun. It's also rare that we see a female firefighter in a romance book so this one immediately skyrocketed up my TBR.

2. Fa-La-La-La Faking It by Teri Wilson

When I think of classic Harlequin stories, this is one that comes to mind. Fa-La-La-La Faking It follows Adaline and Jace who agree to fake date as a way for Adaline to get her grandmother off her back and honestly, this just sounds like a Hallmark movie come to life. Coupled with the fact that Adaline has a therapy dog, I'm here for it. It's also a contemporary romance if you're craving that as we get to the end of the year.

3. Lone Wolf in Lights by Stacey Kennedy

The next book is another pick from Afterglow Books and this one is a cowboy romance. Need I say more as cowboy romances are so hot right now. Lone Wolf in Lights is about Willow and Eli who end up fake-dating as a way to help her out due to her bar recently going viral. While I haven't read the first book in the series, Afterglow Books are always high up on my TBR no matter the season.

4. Time to Shine by Rachel Reid

Rachel Reid has written so many great hockey romances and 2023's Time to Shine is one that people are still raving about. This story follows Casey and Landon who meet after Landon is called up from his farm team to help Calgary's professional hockey team. With bisexual rep, a slow burn and the roommates trope, this one sounds like the perfect thing to read when you're looking to get cozy and fall into a love story.

5. Christmas at the Chateau by Rochelle Alers

The final Christmas romance we want to get read before Saint Nick is here is Christmas at the Chateau by Rochelle Alers. Maybe I'm a sucker for a cute cover, but this one immediately caught my attention. This is a romance between Viola, a chef, and Dom, her family estate's caretaker. I don't know about you, but that sounds too cute to pass up. Coupled with the adorable cover and the fact that it's compared to Brenda Jackson, I'm sold.

Ultimately, there are so many great Christmas romances out there so if you're in the mood to deck your halls and your TBR, then look no further than Harlequin. I'd like to thank Harlequin for putting these titles on my radar and putting this list together.
