Every so often, Barnes & Noble does a preorder sale where you can get 25% off books if you preorder them. Since it ends on September 8th, I wanted to include some romance books you should preorder.

This is going to be a mixed bag of upcoming 2023 and 2024 romance releases. Whether you’re a seasoned romance reader or need something to go next, this list should cater to some of your romance needs.

Of course, I’d love to know the romance books you’re preordering and if there are any books you think should be on our list. I wanted to keep my list pretty short so your wallet will thank you.

I think this only works online and you have to be a Barnes & Noble Premium and Rewards Member so let’s get into the books.

Preorder these six romance books from the Barnes & Noble sale!

Let’s start with the most obvious one and that’s The Breakup Tour by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka. Our favorite married author duo is back again with their next adult romance and it’s Taylor Swift-inspired. This one comes out on January 23rd, 2024, and follows Riley as she’s faced with her ex as they’re reunited on a tour. This sounds juicy and fun and perfect for Taylor Swift lovers.

Moving onto the 2023 release, there is Next-Door Nemesis by Alexa Martin. This is coming out on November 14th, 2023. This is a romance between Collins and Nathaniel as they face off to become the next president of their homeowners association. Frankly, it sounds like it’s going to be as sparkling and fun as the previous Alexa Martin books have been.

The next 2023 release I have to feature is one I’m so excited for and that’s Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher. This is the first book in her Lakefront Billionaires series and is going to follow a romance between Dahlia and Julian which just sounds so incredible. I feel like you can’t go wrong in trusting in Lauren Asher to deliver a fun romance so this one needs to be in your cart for November 7th, 2023.

Next up is another January 2024 release and that’s The (Fake) Dating Game by Timothy Janovsky which is the first from Afterglow Books. This is a new imprint from Harlequin and is a fake-dating story set amidst a game show. I just recently read Timothy Janovsky and I loved his writing style so this one is set to another dazzling entry in his catalog.

To round things out for the 2023 releases, I decided to include Cleat Cute by Meryl Wilsner. I’ve talked about this book before I want to make sure it’s on everyone’s radar. It comes out on September 19th and is a sapphic soccer romance. Compared to Ted Lasso and A League of Their Own, this one seems like a great one to help you kick off the fall season.

Lastly, I’m finishing off with King of Sloth by Ana Huang. Yes, I know King of Greed isn’t out yet but I’m focusing on 2024 releases. Ana Huang has done such an amazing job with this series so there’s no doubt this one won’t be another amazing one. King of Sloth is set for release on April 30, 2024. I mean you could always preorder King of Greed as well but I wanted to end with a 2024 release.
