2023 has been a tough year for celebrity couples. So far this year couples such as Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, and Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have split.

Now Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner could be the next pair to call it quits.

According to TMZ, the couple’s marriage has been on the rocks for the past six months. Things have gotten so bad that Jonas has consulted with two Los Angeles divorce lawyers as he seeks to dissolve his four-year marriage.

Rumors of the couple’s divorce comes three weeks after they were spotted together during the Jonas Brothers kickoff tour at Yankee Stadium.

Jonas and Turner became Hollywood’s newest It couple when they began dating in 2016. The singer and the Game of Thrones actress sparked media attention with their red-carpet appearances and social media posts.

A year after they started dating, the couple became engaged in October 2017. The two wed in Las Vegas in May 2019 with his brothers Kevin and Nick in attendance. A month later in June, the couple held another ceremony in France.

In July 2020, Turner gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named Willa. Two years later, the couple welcomed a second daughter.

Like many celebrity parents, Jonas and Turner shielded their children from the public spotlight. They never shared photos on social media or revealed private details about their daughters.

With the couple headed toward divorce, custody of their children will be an issue to resolve. According to SoapAsk, sources reveal that Jonas has been the primary caregiver for his daughters for the past three months. Despite his hectic touring schedule, Jonas’ main focus is his children and their well-being.

So far there’s been of official announcement regarding the couple’s divorce. But one can only hope that this split will be amicable.
