Once an artist releases an album, we’re always looking forward to a tour. That’s exactly how I felt when the Jonas Brothers released The Album.

However, the band actually did things in reverse order. The Jo Bros released tour dates before their album came out. I’m sure part of the reason was due to fans not being happy after paying for tickets to Yankees Stadium.

Regardless, the band decided to unveil a list of tour dates which of course, begins with their two shows back-to-back at Yankees Stadium. It’s crazy to think that’s where the tour is starting as it’s such a massive venue.

Whether you’re looking to purchase tickets or haven’t yet decided if you want to go, we have the scoop on The Tour.

When and where does the Jonas Brothers’ “The Tour” start?

If you’re a Jonas Brothers fan, this might be an easy answer for you. If you’re not or are on the hunt for tickets, you’ll be happy to know The Tour begins on August 12th in the Bronx. Obviously, we know this is going to be the two nights at Yankee Stadium which was supposed to be a one-off until the band released tour info.

Fans were rightfully upset as a lot of them anticipated this being a one-night affair, not the start of the band’s tour. Regardless, it does bring up an interesting question on fandom and the lengths we’ll go to for our favorite bands. For me, I’m going to have to drive almost 3 hours to see them in comparison to the usual 1 and a half drive I have so that’s not what I expected.

As Jonas Brothers fans though, I’m sure we’ve come to expect the unexpected. If listening to The Album is an indication, the songs are going to sound great live. That’s at least one perk if you’re going to be at one of their concerts. With the tagline of “Five Albums. One Night,” too, it’s honestly a lot to be excited about.

Whether you’re planning to attend The Tour or not, it’s always nice to know when a band is headed towards your area. If anything, it helps you plan where not to be. I’m sure those who live near where Taylor Swift toured can relate to this. Regardless, I’m incredibly excited to see the Jonas Brothers on tour.
