Your favorite teenage zombies are back in action! Disney Channel is releasing a new addition to the ZOMBIES franchise, ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts! Since its inception in 2018, ZOMBIES media has taken place in the fictitious, suburban town of Seabrook. After a zombie apocalypse occurred, they were segregated from human life and required to live in Zombietown.
After the first film came out in 2018, a sequel followed in 2020 along with a series of animated shorts called ZOMBIES: Addison’s Moonstone Mystery, with another season of of the animated shorts called ZOMBIES: Addison’s Monster Mystery released in Oct. 2021. A third feature-length film was released in 2022.
ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts is produced by Disney Television Animation. Executive producers include Aliki Theofilopoulos, Jack Ferraiolo, Gary Marsh, David Light, and Joseph Raso.

What is ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts about?
"An animated short-form series that continues the adventures of fan favorites Zed, Addison and the Seabrook crew from the hit “ZOMBIES” franchise. The shorts, which keep the spirit and jam-packed music of the movies, find the friends encountering new monsters — a carnivorous plant monster, horrifying mega-cricket and even evil clones — while dealing with school and new experiences like a never-ending summer time loop."

How many episodes are in ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts? (ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts episode release schedule)
As of now, the whole series is not set to release all of its episodes right now. The series is, however, set to follow a weekly release schedule with the first four episodes already having been announced.
- Episode 1 – “Endless Summer”, July 21
- Episode 2 – “Solstice Slasher”, July 28
- Episode 3 – “Grill or Be Grilled”, Aug. 4
- Episode 4 – “Cabin in the House”, Aug. 11
The full series will be available at a later date. Keep checking and we will update the release schedule accordingly. Until then, now you know that the series has already premiered on Disney Channel, Disney Channel’s YouTube, DisneyNow and thereafter on the Disney+ streaming service.
