June might not technically be the start of summer, but, it’s the perfect romance book reading time. Reading romances in the sunshine is exactly what reading dreams are made of.

While everyone has different tastes in their favorite genre, these three summer months always promise exciting releases. We’re skipping ahead though as we’re talking about June releases and there are plenty to get excited about.

There’s something special about summer reading, whether you’re looking for a new author to enjoy, picking up a re-release, or going back to an author or trope you love. If you did your local library’s summer reading challenge, then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Of course, as adults, there is something even more fun about reading or listening to a romance at the beach.

No matter if you’re on vacation or are just enjoying a warm evening day, these romance books need to be on your radar for summer reading.

These romance books are all exciting new releases coming out in June 2023.

As with these lists, check out your favorite bookish website as there isn’t a full list of all June releases. These are just some anticipated romance books and ones I know are very popular coming out in June.

  • Stinger by Mia Sheridan (June 6)
  • Shadows Of the Lost by Maxym M. Martineau (June 6)
  • All The Right Notes by Dominic Lim (June 6)
  • Royally in Trouble by Meghan Quinn (June 6)

  • Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood (June 13)
  • Hothouse Flower by Krista and Becca Ritchie (June 13)

Normally, I wouldn’t break it up like this, but there are a lot of June releases, so this next section will include releases from the middle of June until the end.

  • Crimson River by Devney Perry (June 15)
  • The Missus by EL James (June 20)
  • Will They or Won’t They by Ava Wilder (June 27)

As you can see, June is a stacked month for romance books and that’s not even all of them. If you’re an indie romance reader, you know those releases can sometimes come at the drop of a hat. Even if you aren’t, there are still many romance books to keep track of.

Of course, I’d love to know your anticipated release from June so share with us, my fellow readers.
