Are the rumors about Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn true?

Rumors have been running rampant about Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn. Whether it was because they were engaged, she was pregnant and now, breakup rumors, it’s neverending.

The cycle is looking to be unbroken, though. A lot of major news publications are sharing that Swift and Alwyn have been broken up. However, it’s been unconfirmed by either party or their representation.

Regardless, it shouldn’t come as a surprise as both have been fodder for gossip and rumors within their 6-year relationship. If there’s one thing we rarely see Taylor Swift do, it’s responding to a rumor.

The lack of response from both Swift and Alwyn does bring up a bigger question and that’s if the two are truly broken up or if is this just another media frenzy to get everyone hyped up for no reason.

Could the breakup rumors about Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn be true?

Frankly, I don’t 100% believe that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have broken up for multiple reasons. I know it’s been a while since the two were seen in public together. However, they’re both very busy people with very busy schedules. Regardless, they’ve made it work this long in Hollywood which is basically unheard of.

Additionally, the duo has been notoriously private so any issues or breakups would be something we likely wouldn’t find out about until months later. As adorable as they are together, I feel like we’d notice something. I mean at least, my fellow Taylor Swift fans would but since they’re such a private couple, it makes sense.

Most recently, Swift released the song: “All Of The Girls You Loved Before” which is such a romantic and lovely song. To me, it felt like paying homage to your love and being the person who loves them the most of all their parents. Maybe it was meant to be interpreted a different way yet that song felt as sparkly and fun as the rest of Lover’s songs did. Then again, maybe it’s because I’m a romance reader and hopeless romance.

I just find it so hard to believe that this power couple would break up amidst the two having such successful periods in their respective careers. Stranger things have happened, but with how much the two are intertwined and the fact that Joe was co-writer for Taylor’s last album, I can’t fully get behind this one.
