While she’s known for her stories about strong female characters and family dynamics, she’s also written some romance novels. Of course, one of her most popular books, and the one that skyrocketed her to fame was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

Currently, we’re all talking about Daisy Jones & The Six. The book follows a fictionalized band called The Six and how they add Daisy Jones to the mix. From that point on, it’s honestly pretty scandalous and dramatic but all in all, an absolute delight.

First up is One True Loves which is becoming a movie. The film is going to feature Simu Lu, Luke Bracey, and Phillipa Soo. This book is easily one of the most emotional ones she’s written to date and it follows a woman who moves on after her husband is presumed dead yet things take a turn when he’s found alive. This one is set for release on April 7th, 2023.

Another book being adapted is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It’s been made into a movie but honestly, I feel like it’d be better as a TV series. Regardless, this is going to follow Evelyn as she’s telling the story of her life and her seven husbands. Of all the books, I feel like this one has the potential to be the most popular as the book is already so beloved.

Last but not least, another recent TJR release being adapted is Malibu Rising. While Taylor Jenkins Reid writes incredible romances, I feel like her recent releases lend better to adaptations. Malibu Rising follows the Riva siblings as they’re all dealing with their lives, relationships, and stress during the 1980s in Malibu.
