Dolly Parton bakes up more treats for Duncan Hines line

Country legend Dolly Parton is creating more boxed baked goods for her Duncan Hines lineup.  Since she began her partnership with the cake mix company last year, the results have been a sweet success.

In a press release, Dolly gave exciting news on what’s to come in her latest launch.

“I knew Duncan Hines, and I were bringing something special to the baking aisle when we launched our partnership last year, and I’ve been thrilled by the response.  I’m really excited to launch more baking mixes steeped in my Southern roots, like Cornbread and Biscuits.  I think folks are really going to like them and hope they’ll bake up some special memories with family and friends.”

In the new lineup, four new mixes will be added.  For brownie lovers, it’s Caramel Turtle and Fabulously Fudgy.  For those who prefer savory fare, there’s Sweet Cornbread and a Southern classic, Buttermilk Biscuit, that’ll taste great with another classic fried chicken.

The Grammy winner previewed her new baking mixes through a video she posted on her Twitter page.

Duncan Hines will also have a limited edition Dolly Parton Baking Collection kit that includes all four new baking flavors, recipe cards, a clever Dolly tea towel, and a pink rubber spatula.  The kits will be available to the general public on the Duncan Hines website on February 8th.  The Duncan Hines Baking Community members will have early access on February 1st.

In Dolly’s first launch with Duncan Hines, there was coconut cream cake, Southern Style Banana, and two frostings, Creamy Buttercream and Chocolate Buttercream, respectively.  Her first cake mix cake contained all four products, recipe cards, and a tea towel, sold out in under five minutes on the launch day in January 2022.

The new baking mixes will be available in grocery stores and online towards the end of January, right in time for Valentine’s Day.
