December is here and with it comes Christmas shopping. If you love romance books, you’ll have to bookmark this.

The first reason to bookmark it is to know what to put on your wishlist. The other reason is that if you acquire gift cards this holiday season, you’ll be able to see what you want to use said gift cards on.

Regardless, this is always one of my favorite posts to do each month because you get to look ahead at which romance books are coming this month. With December, there aren’t nearly as many releases, but many of these have been hotly anticipated.

For me, there are a few romance books I know I’ll be picking up on release day or sequels a lot of us have been waiting for so let’s get into the December releases.

These romance books are all poised to be released in December 2022.

I don’t want to give too much preamble for this one as I feel like a lot of us already know what we’re getting to this month. Even so, hopefully, you’re able to find something new to add to your TBR. Of course, as I always mention, make sure to consult your favorite bookish website as I can’t always list every single release.

  • Anastasia by Sophie Lark (December 6)
  • The Frat Boy by Nikki Sloane (December 6)
  • Witcha Gonna Do by Avery Flynn (December 6)
  • A Dash of Salt and Pepper by Kosoko Jackson (December 6)
  • Well Traveled by Jen DeLuca (December 6)
  • Queen of Myths and Monsters by Scarlett St. Clair (December 20)
  • Never Cross A Highlander by Lisa Rayne (December 27)
  • A Wicked Game by Kate Bateman (December 27)
  • Cinderella and the Duke by Lydia Drake (December 27)

As you can see, this is a relatively short list, but a lot of these are books most of us have been waiting for or sequels. Either way, this shouldn’t come as a surprise since December is usually the month when people buy for others rather than themselves. Regardless, hopefully, one of these new releases jumps out at you and you consider picking it up.
