Another month, another batch of romance books to share. As summer comes to a close, now is the perfect time to pick up a new read.

While fall isn’t usually associated with romance or romance books, now is the perfect time to find a new romance book to check out. There is a multitude of reasons, but the main reason is that it’s nice to snuggle up under a blanket and just read your book.

As far as 2022 releases go, romance books have been all over the board. Whether you’re looking for a specific genre or trope, there are plenty of options. However, if you’re looking for something new, you’re in luck as we’re talking about September romance releases.

Considering all the changes happening at Barnes & Noble now is the perfect time to make sure you’re on top of the upcoming romance books released.

These September romance books need to be on your radar.

Similar to previous months, you might notice a theme with some of these books. With Fall quickly approaching, a few of these books are either romances featuring witches or have a witchy/autumnal vibe to them. As always, this is not a full list, but just some that jump out at me as September releases to know.

  • Nicky the Driver by Cate C. Wells (September 2)
  • The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas (September 6)
  • Angelika Frankenstein Makes Her Match by Sally Thorne (September 6)
  • Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake by Mazey Eddings (September 6)
  • Do You Take This Man by Denise Williams (September 6)
  • The Decoy Girlfriend by Lillie Vale (September 6)
  • Vanessa Jared’s Got A Man by LaQuette (September 20)
  • When in Rome by Sarah Adams (September 20)
  • The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling (September 20)
  • Witchful Thinking by Celestine Martin (September 27)
  • How The Wallflower Was Won by Eva Leigh (September 27)

While there aren’t a ton of releases, a lot of these are either sequels or books by authors who are incredibly popular. Personally, I’m super excited to read Nicky the Driver and The Decoy Girlfriend as they both seem like they have the potential to be new favorites for me. No matter though, there are lots of great romance books out there to read.
