Will Hope and Landon’s goodbye be final? Legacies finally reunited the long-time separated couple at the end of “I Wouldn’t Be Standing Here If It Weren’t For You.” Throughout “Into the Woods,” Hope is again placed in a position to save Landon. However, things do not take long to deviate from her plan.

Hope acknowledges her history of going above and beyond to save Landon. But, this time, it may not be that simple. Although the Necromancer sends Landon back to life, he is quickly taken back to Limbo. So, this places Hope and Landon in a similar situation they have been in before. Hope’s determination to save Landon usually results in her friends suffering. So, can they do something different this time?

Even though Hope had no plans to return to her body without taking Landon with her, Landon is insistent that Hope must save their friends. But, to do that, Hope must leave Landon behind. So, they say goodbye as if they have reached the end of their story. But, is it?

There are still episodes left in the season to bring Landon back to life. However, Legacies has reached a point where it needs to start being decisive about Landon’s role moving forward. Landon’s entire storyline in season 4 has placed him in Limbo. He may have found a purpose in helping people reach peace, but is that a storyline Legacies can continue devoting time to if Landon is the only one left in Limbo? It is such a different plotline than what is occurring for everyone else.

So, will Landon stay in Limbo or return to the real world? Hope and Landon’s relationship may be part of the show’s fabric, but given where they stand, it needs to conclude or evolve beyond what has occurred thus far.

However, Hope and Landon are not the only ones facing relationship conflicts. Lizzie and MG are also confronting their feelings. Lizzie is convinced MG is angry at her for various reasons she lists, only to discover that is not the case at all. Instead, MG’s emotions come from Lizzie having gone to Ethan when she needed help instead of him.

MG’s feelings for Lizzie have always been an underlying subplot of the show. While more recent than MG’s, Lizzie’s reciprocating feelings have been involved in the story for a while now. However, due to Ethan’s involvement, their dynamic was complicated by a love triangle. MG’s confession never receives an answer as Lizzie is cut off by learning that Ethan may be in far more danger than they realized.

Ethan’s fazing has increased beyond his control, and after experimenting on a monster with the same powers, Lizzie concludes that Ethan will die once the powers run out. So, what does that mean for their friendships and complicated love triangle?

It has already been hinted that someone will die in the war against the Gods. Does that mean Ethan has a bigger chance of dying? Will Lizzie and MG find a way to save him?

With each episode, the war gets closer, and it is only a matter of time before the stakes are raised to their highest level. Ken and Aurora are on the warpath to kill Hope. Ben is teaming up with the Super Squad to fight against his father and has admitted his willingness to die for the cause.

Who will live? Who will die? Can the Gods be defeated? Legacies has plenty of questions to answer by season 4’s finale.
