Marvel fans, are you looking for another way to show off your fandom? Then the iconic game UNO has us all covered with their newest offering.
Bring on the competition and the superheroes because we now have UNO Ultimate, the ultimate Uno game for fans of Marvel. And this isn’t just a classic game of UNO, this is a chance to take the game in a whole new direction while also letting us collect and trade cards with friends. Build your Ultimate game with this epic gaming experience.
And this Spring, it is all about the expansion packs too, as you can now play as even more Marvel characters!
So what makes UNO Ultimate Marvel cards so special (besides the obvious)?
UNO goes Ultimate with a game that lets us collect Marvel-themed cards
According to the press email we received ( and the experience we had),
"This premium version of UNO features four card decks, each designed specifically for a popular, heroic character. Each player chooses to play as a character who has special powers that they can use on EVERY turn. A Danger Deck holds “Event” and “Enemy” cards to switch the balance of power! Players race to get rid of all their cards just like the classic UNO game, and they can’t forget to yell “UNO!” when down to their last one."
It’s truly an ultimate take on the game because while there are more cards involved in this set, the game still requires getting rid of your cards and making sure you reveal that you only have a single card left.
But where things are different here is that the Ultimate game has more than one way to win a round. And you can get your hands on collectible cards that can be added to the game to add some spice to the experience. Or, if you don’t want to add them to the actual game, that is fine too. It is all about what you want to do with the special Foil Cards.
And since you are playing as characters such as Captain Marvel or Black Panther, you already know this is going to be a fresh take on the classic. But that doesn’t even take into account the expansion packs that let you play as even more classic heroes, such as Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, or Dr. Strange!
For me, this game was fascinating. It was like taking the classic game to a whole new level because it felt like it required more strategy. This wasn’t just about the luck of the draw. It was also about having a bit of a plan and really paying attention to the gameplay since each hero has their special powers and different rules they need to abide by within the game.
While the primary game will cost you about $14.95, there are add-on packs you can add to your game. These add-ons give you a chance to add even more heroes to the mix.
The best way to enjoy this game is to have at least three players to compete with and against. Grab your friends, grab some expansion packs, and make it a Marvel game night.
What do you think? Is this the game for you? Will you get one of these games because of the Marvel aspect of the game? We want to know.
