Let the pages turn.  Pop sensation Britney Spears scored a lucrative book deal with publisher Simon & Schuster.  The contract is reportedly worth an impressive $15 million, with Simon and Schuster winning a competitive bidding war against other publishers for the glory.

In the yet-to-be-titled memoir, Spears will share pivotal accounts of her life, including becoming one of the top performers in the world, her family affairs, and her career.  The 40-year-old Mississippi native started on the Mickey Mouse Club back in the early ’90s with a fellow pop performer, Christina Aguilera, and N’Sync member Justin Timberlake.  At the end of the decade, Spears hit her first number-one single, “Baby, One More Time” at the age of seventeen.  Since then, she has become a global superstar with several platinum-certified albums along with soldout concerts and gaining brand endorsements.  She even starred in the 2001 coming-of-age movie, Crossroads as a high school senior trying to find herself on a cross-country road trip.

In November 2021, Britney’s thirteen-year conservatorship came to an end.  Under the order appointed by her father Jamie, who initiated it in 2008, Britney emotionally testified in court that the conservatorship was ‘abusive‘ and stripped her of being able to ‘live a full life.’

Fans sided with Spears with the #FreeBritney movement, giving their insights on her conservatorship and never backing away until Britney was finally free.  For their supportive dedication, the Toxic singer extended her thanks on her Instagram page.

While the public may not know the full extent of the conservatorship, perhaps all would be uncurtained in her new book.  As for her family, her younger Jamie Lynn recently released her tell-all book, Things I Should Have Said, this past January, and Britney’s responses to it were less than favorable.

On the positive side, Britney is finally living her freedom and enjoying life as she sees it.
