Social voting begins on January 27th and will end on March 15 at 11:59 pm PT for all categories.  Fans can vote with the corresponding hashtags and through iHeartRadio.com/awards. Here is what to expect from the upcoming 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Nominees in the top categories

The iHeartRadio Music Awards honor the top artists in the most popular genres of music, top songs, and most recognized albums of the year.  The “Female Artist of the Year” category is one of the most competitive of the entire awards show this year! Taylor Swift has had an incredible year after re-recording much of her music to much love and attention from fans. While Olivia Rodrigo has also been breaking records with singles like “Good for You” and “Deja Vu”, Ariana Grande continues to also get attention with her live performances. Dua Lipa and Doja Cat are also in the category.

The “Song of the Year” will also be one of the most competitive categories.  “Drivers license” was the song that cemented Olivia Rodrigo’s place in the music industry but “Easy On Me” was the song that announced that Adele had returned and continues to be on the charts today.
