When We Were Young Festival is bringing back pop-punk music

With live shows coming back slowly this year, it was only time for pop-punk music to have a show of its own. Even though there was a festival for pop-punk and emo lovers in 2017, the When We Were Young Festival is coming back this October for an additional third day filled with all types of nostalgia no one saw coming. From My Chemical Romance to Paramore and Boys Like Girls to the pop-punk queen of Avril Lavigne, there won’t be anyone missing. The festival takes place on October 22 at the Las Vegas Festival Ground with over 60 bands.

Bands that will perform at the festival

The festival has every trait of Warped Tour. Warped Tour was the longest-running music tour and home to many up-and-coming bands for many years. Although the last one was active in 2019, there are rumors that it may return soon. As of now, When We Young is the only music of similar size that also plays the same music.

Many of the performers on the list have not performed together in years. While bands like The Story So Far have released music as resent as 2019, there has not been any new music as of late either.

Music fans can sign up to purchase pre-sale tickets via the festival website. This is in preparation for when the tickets go live on Jan. 31 at 10 AM PT. Afterward, general presale tickets will go live at 2 PM PT.
