Now that the fourth season of Selling Sunset has begun streaming on Netflix (and we have binge-watched it all), as well as the first season of Selling Tampa, we have some thoughts. And while we won’t get into the things we want more of on Selling Sunset, we have a bit of a wishlist for the Florida-based series.

Now that we have completely binge-watched Season 1 of Selling Tampa, we can’t wait for a second season, especially if they make that happen as soon as possible.

So what exactly is on our Selling Tampa wishlist? And why are we excited by the series as a whole?

5 things we want to see more of on Selling Tampa

  • More real estate – Maybe it’s just me, but it felt like the houses and real estate took a backseat in the first season of Selling Tampa. While there was a little drama around a showing (cue the cringe), it didn’t feel like there was enough of an emphasis on the homes and real estate.
  • A better balance of selling and drama – What Selling Sunset does best is give us luxury real estate and drama in equal measure. Even the drama happens at the houses on Selling Sunset, so it would be nice to see more of a balance when it comes to Selling Tampa.
  • More of Tampa – One thing that we love in Selling Sunset is that they shine a spotlight on the area where the Oppenheim group works. And we want Selling Tampa to do the same thing. While we see a little bit of Tampa, and we hear how amazing this city is from the Allure agents, it would be nice to see more of the city.
  • More episodes – Was anyone else confused when all of a sudden the season was over? It felt like Netflix didn’t know that they were about to have a diamond in their midst and just decided they would hedge their bets. I get that Selling Sunset has its own set of fans, especially with four seasons under their belts already, but it felt like Selling Tampa didn’t get nearly enough episodes to tell their story. So we want more and we want more episodes.
  • Rena’s journey as a broker – Quite a bit of the drama on Selling Tampa stemmed from Rena Frazier, which was a true shock because this is a woman you can tell is all business. But the drama came from the fact that Rena is a licensed broker, which could potentially be seen as a bit of a conflict. And when she broached the idea of opening her agency with two of the other agents, things just went off. But all of that leaves us wondering what comes next for Rena. Is she going to start her agency? Will she leave Allure in Season 2? We want to know!

Honestly, if you have already binge-watched the entire first season of Selling Tampa as we did, you already know that these women are fierce and talented and they have what it takes to bring in the viewers on Netflix. And that means we want to see more of them.
