The 100 alumni Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor will star together in an upcoming independent sci-fi feature.  Filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, and directed by Erik Bernard, the production promises to be filled with not only suspense but a fractured marriage between Morley’s and Taylor’s characters as they both pummel mental despair and try to survive against certain horrors.

The film, with its rumored title, Hera, will premiere at the 2022 European Film Market in Berlin.  Details are pretty much under wraps, but those following Eliza Taylor on her Instagram got a peek at their on-set life.  And the two are looking pretty cozy.

Eliza will portray a woman named Julie and Morley will portray her husband, Marcus.  The couple both are gifted with creative passions, but sometimes a gift can become a curse.

The film has a rather foreboding synopsis, which was recently released by the Italian media company, IUViT Media.  (You can also check out the face-splitting poster.)

"The story takes place in the modern world as technology finds new ways to enhance our lives; we see a man (Bob Morley) working to harness a new technology for replacing humanity and a woman (Eliza Taylor) fighting to revisit the success and inspiration she lost after her sister’s death.Lost and unsure of her ability to continue her career as a painter, she finds herself isolated in a home miles away from civilization, trapped in a failing relationship, and under the manipulation of the virtual assistant that her husband has created."

Technology can unleash devastating consequences when used with dishonorable intentions and according to Hera’s synopsis, it appears that Julie will have to fight for her survival against it.   As for her husband, he can either stop the very thing that he created to save his wife or allow it to further destroy humanity and possibly his marriage.

Rest assured, fans are eager to see both Morley and Taylor working together again after their departure on The 100 that ended after seven seasons in 2020.  After such a dismal (and unfair) ending for Bellamy and a bittersweet one for Clarke, here is to hoping that their fates are unmatched in Hera.

Since the nuclear apocalyptic series had its finale, Eliza has become the director of two music videos, as well as starring and producing in an Australian production, and landing a guest-starring role in Seth MacFarlane’s The Orville in the upcoming third season.  As for Bob, come December 26th, he will be a part of a new Australian mini-series, Love Me, that will air exclusively on Binge TV Australia. Back in May, he played a criminal in the season three finale of ABC’s The Rookie.
