Adele is making her return to music with Easy on Me teaser

Adele has made her return – sort of.

A day after the layout on the pop megastar’s social media was updated, a new music teaser was released. It’s only been seven years since we have received a full length album. Now it’s only right to say, “Hello, from the other side!”  We have been waiting.

What to expect from Adele in her new era of music

Her teaser sounds like classic Adele. I can’t say I’m happy or disappointed. It’s a bit of both to be honest. I’m happy to know Adele is back but a part of me wanted to hear something like the recognizable beginning to “Hello” or the musical progression in “Someone Like You”.

It’s still too early to tell what exactly we will have in her new music. But, as previously mentioned, it’s bound to be a hit because it’s the recognizable music we know and love.

What will the new music be about?

Adele is one of the best selling artists worldwide for spilling her heart and emotion into every lyric she writes. It could be that her new album will be driven by the emotion behind her divorce.

When her divorce was finalized on March 4, 2021, she was out of the spotlight for much time. After her SNL appearance in October 2020 much attention was bought to appearance.

At the she joked: “I know I look really, really different since you last saw me, but actually because of all the COVID restrictions and the travel bans, I had to travel light and only bring half of me. And this is the half I chose.”

But if this says anything, it means she has had plenty of life experience to put in her new music. The full song, “Easy on Me”, will be out on October 15.
