Muppets Haunted Mansion, LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales, and everything else on Disney+ in October

October is here, and that means Spooky Season is upon us. Disney+ is celebrating with new Halloween-themed content that won’t exactly scare you — but it’ll give subscribers something to enjoy with their pumpkin coffees and Halloween candy. Of course, there’s plenty of other content coming to Disney+ in October. So, if you’re not a huge Halloween fan, don’t fret.

The streamer kicks off the month with its LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales, which will bring viewers on a journey through Castle Vader. They’ll take the grand tour alongside Poe Dameron and BB-8, hearing twisted tales about other fan-favorite characters from the franchise. Much like Marvel’s What If…?, it’ll place the Star Wars characters in never-before-seen scenarios. It’s a fun way to kick off the Halloween season, that’s for sure.

Muppets Haunted Mansion also arrives on Disney+ in October, and it looks like the perfect Halloween special for the whole family to enjoy. Bringing the Muppets to “the home of fear and fright” inspired by Disney World’s Haunted Mansion ride, the feature promises to bring both spooks and laughs. It’s a must-watch for Muppet fans and those who love Disney Parks.

Subscribers looking for something a little spookier can check out Just Beyond Season 1. Debuting mid-October, the eight-episode anthology series is based on the works of author R.L. Stine. If you’ve powered through Netflix’s Fear Street movies and want more Stine-inspired content, Just Beyond could be the series for you.

Moving away from spooky offerings, the first season finale of Marvel’s What If…? arrives in October — and it promises to tie the previous episodes together in a satisfying way. It could also set fans up for future Marvel projects, including its own second season.

Speaking of other Marvel projects, Black Widow returns to Disney+ this month, this time without the Premier Access price. Whether you missed it the first time around or want to watch Natasha Romanoff’s solo movie again, now’s your opportunity.
